How much does an InfynitEdge subscription cost?

The Single plan is $29 per month for one cutting shear, and the Bundle is $39 per month for a cutting shear plus matched thinning shear. Both include a premium leather case and 2 swap credits per year. See full details on the subscription page.

Is there a signup fee?

Yes. A one-time $49 setup fee at checkout covers your premium shear kit, leather case, and welcome materials. It applies to monthly subscriptions and is waived when you choose the annual plan.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel anytime after your first 3 months.

Swaps

How many swaps are included?

Single and Bundle subscriptions include 2 on-demand swaps per year. Additional swaps are $39 each.

Will I ever be without shears during a swap?

No. Fresh shears ship before you send your dulled pair back, so there is no downtime in your chair.

Who pays for swap shipping?

We do, in both directions. Every swap includes a prepaid return mailer.

What shears will I receive?

Every pair is crafted from premium Japanese ATS-314 steel and delivered cutting-ready in a professional leather case, in your choice of 5.5" or 6.0". All plans receive the same professional-grade shears.

Can I buy the shears outright?

Yes. Chromium sells the Cutting Shear for $749 and the Shear & Thinning Set for $1,249, each with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Sharpening, swaps, and zero-downtime replacements remain exclusive to InfynitEdge subscribers.

Why subscribe instead of buying shears?

Ownership means $750 to $1,800 upfront plus $80 to $200 a year in sharpening, with downtime while your pair is away. A subscription replaces all of that with one flat monthly rate and swaps included. Read how it works.
