Every InfynitEdge subscription delivers the same professional-grade Japanese steel shears. Plans differ by what is in your kit and how often you can swap, not by shear quality.

Single: $29 per month

One professional cutting shear in your choice of 5.5" or 6.0", a premium leather carrying case, and 2 on-demand swap credits per year. Retail value of the shear alone: $749. Start the Single subscription.

Bundle: $39 per month

Our most popular plan. A cutting shear plus a matched thinning shear, the leather case, and 2 on-demand swap credits per year. Retail value of the set: $1,249. Start the Bundle subscription.

Prefer to own your shears?

Chromium sells the same professional shears outright: the Cutting Shear for $749 and the Shear & Thinning Set for $1,249. Outright purchase includes a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Sharpening, swaps, and zero-downtime replacements remain exclusive to InfynitEdge subscribers.

Fees and terms, in plain language

Plus a one-time $49 setup fee at checkout. Applies to monthly subscriptions; waived on annual. The setup fee covers your shear kit, leather case, and welcome materials. Subscriptions have a 3-month minimum, then cancel anytime. Additional swaps beyond your annual credits are $39 each. We cover shipping both ways on every swap.

The math against ownership

Buying professional shears means $750 to $1,800 upfront, plus $80 to $200 per year in sharpening, plus the downtime of mailing your primary pair away. At $29 to $39 per month with swaps and shipping included, a subscription turns an unpredictable capital expense into a flat operating cost, and your edge is never the reason a cut falls short.
