Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund Policy describes how returns, refunds, and replacements are handled for the InfynitEdge subscription program.
1. The Initial Three-Month Commitment
Monthly subscriptions are subject to a three-month minimum commitment, as described in our Terms of Service. Subscription charges during this period are non-refundable, except (a) as required by law or (b) where required to remedy a defective shear under the lifetime warranty.
2. After the Three-Month Commitment
After the initial three-month commitment, you may cancel at any time. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service for cancellation procedures. Your final billing cycle will complete; we do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period unless required by law.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for a 12-month period and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time, in which case your subscription will not renew at the end of the current annual term.
4. Initiation Fee
The $49 initiation fee is non-refundable once your initial shear kit has shipped.
5. Defective Shears
If a shear is defective due to a manufacturing flaw, we will replace it at no charge under our limited lifetime warranty. To request a defect replacement:
- Email support@chromium.com with your order number, photos of the defect, and a brief description
- We will respond within two (2) business days with next steps
- If a defect is confirmed, we will ship a replacement and provide a prepaid return mailer for the defective shear
6. Damaged in Transit
If your shipment arrives damaged, contact us at support@chromium.com within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will replace the damaged shear at no charge.
7. Customer-Caused Damage or Loss
Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, drops, or modification, and shears that are lost or stolen, are not covered by warranty. Replacement shears in these cases are available at our member rate. Contact support for current pricing.
8. Return of Shears Following Cancellation
When your subscription ends, you must return all shears provided to you under the Program within 14 days of your final billing date, using the prepaid return label we will issue at the time of cancellation. Shears not returned within this period will be billed at the unreturned-shear rate set forth in Section 5.3 of our Terms of Service.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
10. Disputes
If you have a billing dispute, please contact us first at support@chromium.com. We aim to resolve billing concerns within five (5) business days. See Section 16 of our Terms of Service for our broader dispute resolution process.
